CJP Protest: During the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, a different atmosphere was seen when a person reached outside the protest site with ‘Hit’ spray in his hand. He targeted CJP and his supporters by spraying spray on the picture of a cockroach.
The person claimed that the organization is said to have crores of supporters on social media, but very few people are seen at the protest site. He raised the question, “Where are the people who claim to have 20 million followers?”
‘Will not let India become Nepal-Bangladesh’
The protesting person alleged that this movement is trying to take the country in the wrong direction. He said that he does not want to let India go into a situation like Nepal or Bangladesh. Others present with him also described the performance as a “flop” and a “pre-planned event”. However, he also said that he has no connection with any political party, BJP or any other party.

Both sides came face to face
The situation became more heated when CJP supporters also reached in front of the people opposing the protest. After this, a round of allegations and counter-allegations started between both the parties. Both sides questioned each other’s claims and objectives. However, the police and security personnel present at the spot kept an eye on the situation.
Protestors accused the government
CJP supporters say that their movement is about issues related to the future of students and youth. According to the protesters, they are protesting because the government is playing with the future of children and students. He said that their demands regarding issues related to the education system should be listened to seriously.
CJP’s demonstration started at Jantar Mantar
Members of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) started their protest at Jantar Mantar on Saturday. The protest is being led by the organization’s founder Abhijeet Deepke. Earlier, CJP had claimed that it has got permission to protest at Jantar Mantar. In view of the demonstration, security arrangements have been tightened in the national capital.
Extensive security arrangements in Delhi
In view of the demonstration, the deployment of Delhi Police and paramilitary forces has been increased. Additional security forces have been deployed in central Delhi, Indira Gandhi International Airport, major railway stations, interstate bus terminals and border entry points connected to Delhi. According to sources, about 40 companies of paramilitary forces have been deployed to maintain law and order. Officers of the level of Joint Commissioner of Police, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police and Assistant Deputy Commissioner of Police have been entrusted with the responsibility of monitoring the security arrangements. Multi-layered security arrangements have been implemented in sensitive areas and the police are continuously monitoring the entire incident.
