The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced Team India for the five-match T20 series against England. The Indian team will play a five-match T20 series in England from July 1. Team India has been announced for this series. Shreyas Iyer has been given the captaincy. Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who made a splash in IPL 2026, has been included in Team India. At the same time, fast bowler Prince Yadav has also got a place in the 16-member team.

Suryakumar Yadav, who won the 2026 T20 World Cup for India, has been dropped from the T20 team. Rinku Singh has also not got a place in the team. Apart from Ireland, Jasprit Bumrah has also been rested in the England T20 series. BCCI has selected a 16-member team for the five-match T20 series against England.

Schedule of India’s tour of England

Team India has to play a five-match T20 series and a three-match ODI series on the England tour. The T20 series will start from July 1. The first T20 will be played at Chester-le-Street on 1 July, the second T20 at Manchester on 4 July, the third T20 at Trent Bridge on 7 July, the fourth T20 at Bristol on 9 July and the fifth T20 at Southampton on 11 July.
