Team India defeated Afghanistan by an innings and 300 runs in the only test. This was the biggest victory of Team India in the history of Test cricket. In this victory of the team, a miraculous performance was seen from debutant Manav Suthar. He took 7 wickets in both the innings. Team India, captained by Shubman Gill, looked completely dominant in the match played at the Maharaja Yadvinder Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh.
Batting first, India declared the innings after scoring 564 runs for 8 wickets. Captain Shubhman Gill played the biggest innings for the team, scoring 126 runs with the help of 15 fours and 1 six. Apart from this, KL Rahul scored 100 runs by hitting 11 fours. Rest Sai Sudarshan and Rishabh Pant played innings of 81-81 runs. Washington Sundar scored a half-century scoring 52* runs.
Apart from this, Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 24 runs, Dhruv Jurel scored 19 runs, Manav Suthar scored 28 runs, Mohammad Siraj scored 22 runs and Kuldeep Yadav scored 09* runs.

Afghanistan flopped in both innings
Afghanistan, who came to bat in the first innings, was all out for 152 runs. Rahmat Shah played an inning of 60 runs for the team. Apart from this, all the other batsmen were flops. Manav Suthar took maximum 6 wickets for India in this innings. Apart from this, Prasidh Krishna got 3 wickets and Washington Sundar got 1 wicket.
After being all out early in the first innings, Team India invited Afghanistan to bat in the second innings under follow-on. India had a lead of 412 runs. This time the Afghan team was limited to only 112 runs. Opener Siddiqullah Atal played the biggest inning of 42 runs for the team. Washington Sundar took maximum 4 wickets for India in this innings. Rest Kuldeep Yadav took 3 wickets, Mohammad Siraj took 1 wicket and Manav Sudhar took 1 wicket. In this way Team India registered its biggest win in Tests.
