What is the full news?
Actually, a screenshot has been shared through the social media account of PIB Fact Check. In which it is written, ‘This is not the time to buy gold, but this is the time for the sacrifice of mothers and sisters. There is an appeal to the mothers and sisters to sell the gold and deposit all the money in their banks.’ The photo of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is attached with it and his name is also written. Along with this photo, PIB has written, ‘No such appeal has been made by the Prime Minister regarding selling of gold.’
PIB fact check said wrong
PIB Fact Check has completely rejected this claim. It has been told in this fact check that ‘This claim is completely fake. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not made any such appeal. In view of the global situation, the Prime Minister had appealed to the people to avoid buying gold for the time being. Along with this, he has also shared a press release of the real appeal.
