Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has announced recruitment for thousands of bus driver posts. Under this recruitment drive, eligible candidates will be appointed to a total of 4599 posts.
The application process has been started for the youth who have been waiting for this recruitment for a long time. Who can apply?
Candidates applying for the post of Bus Driver must have passed 12th from a recognized board. Along with this, candidates should have necessary driving qualifications and valid driving license.
Talking about the age limit, the minimum age of the candidate has been fixed at 25 years and maximum age is 35 years. However, as per government rules, reserved category candidates will also get the benefit of relaxation in the maximum age limit.

Selection will be done in two phases
Written examination will be conducted in the first phase. A total of 100 marks questions will be asked in this exam. In the selection process, the weightage of the written examination has been kept at 40 percent. The candidates who are successful in the examination will be called for the next stage.
Driving test will be conducted in the second phase. This is considered to be the most important part of the recruitment because its weightage has been fixed at 60 percent. Candidates will have to demonstrate safe and good driving skills. It will be necessary to pass the driving test.
You will get this much salary every month
Selected candidates will be given a salary of up to Rs 26 thousand every month. Apart from this, other facilities and benefits can also be provided as per the rules of the Transport Corporation. This is the reason why this recruitment is much discussed among the youth.
How much application fee will have to be paid?
Candidates applying for recruitment will have to deposit the application fee according to the category. The application fee for general category candidates has been kept at Rs 300. The application fee for reserved category candidates has been fixed at Rs 200. Application fee will be paid through online mode.
