RVS Mani, a former official of the Union Home Ministry, has claimed that Pakistani cricketers used to smuggle drugs during the tour of India, he also took the names of Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Asif, who were also caught on the charges of this. Then PCB had banned Akhtar for 2 years and Asif for 1 year. The officer says that he used to bring drugs with him not for his own consumption but for smuggling. He also accused Pakistan cricketers and officials of drug smuggling.
RVS Mani claimed in an interview with ANI that the plan was to present the narrative of the Mumbai attacks as Hindu terrorism. He said that if Mumbai Police officer Tukaram Omble had not caught Ajmal Kasab alive then it would have been called an attack by a Hindu. He said that Ajmal was wearing a Kalawa in his hand.

Citing the report, the officer claimed that 30 percent of the funding for the terrorist attack came from drug smuggling money. He said that this is the policy of Pakistan. He also mentioned the death of Bob Woolmer, who died mysteriously during the 2007 Cricket World Cup. He was found dead in his hotel. Initial investigation revealed that Woolmer was strangled to death, but after investigation, Jamaica Police ruled it to be a heart attack or death due to health-related reasons.
