After the release of admit card for NEET UG 2026 re-exam, a large number of candidates are facing technical problems in downloading it. Meanwhile, the National Examination Agency (NTA) has clarified the situation and said that some students are facing problems due to server and technical reasons, but the technical team is continuously working to solve the problem.
NTA said that the admit cards for NEET UG re-exam to be held on June 21, 2026 were issued on June 14. After the release of the admit card, lakhs of students reached the official portal simultaneously, due to which the temporary pressure on the website increased. Due to this, many candidates are facing problems like server error, slow running of the website, login page not opening and session timeout.
According to the agency, till now more than 4 lakh candidates have successfully downloaded their admit cards. However, some candidates are still facing problems in accessing the portal or receiving the admit card. NTA has assured that admit cards will be provided to all eligible candidates on time.
NTA appealed
NTA has appealed to the students not to panic and keep checking the updates by logging into the official website from time to time. The agency says that the technical team is continuously working to increase server capacity and make the portal smooth.
NEET UG re-exam to be held on June 21 will be conducted from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. It will be mandatory for the candidates appearing in the examination to carry a printed copy of the admit card and a valid photo identity card to the examination centre. Without admit card, no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre.
What is on the admit card?
The name of the candidate, roll number, address of the examination centre, reporting time and important guidelines related to the examination are given in the admit card. Therefore, candidates have been advised to check all the information entered in the admit card carefully after downloading it.

Meanwhile, NTA has also given information about an important rule related to bank verification. According to the agency, some candidates may have to update bank account related information on the portal. In such cases, there is a possibility of increased server load, due to which the process may take time.

NTA has said that candidates should keep all the necessary bank documents and information ready with them before logging in. With this, the verification process will be completed faster and there will be no problem in downloading the admit card.
For bank account verification, candidates should keep their full name as per bank records, bank account number and copy of canceled check ready. The agency says that giving correct and accurate information will not cause any problem in the further process.
