There is good news for the students appearing in NEET UG 2026 re-exam. Andhra Pradesh government has given great relief to these students. The state government will provide free bus travel facility to all the candidates on the day of NEET UG re-exam to be held on 21st June. Its objective is to reduce the problems faced by the students in reaching the examination center and to provide them a stress-free environment.
State Transport Minister M. Ramaprasad Reddy has said that no fare will be charged from the students going for the examination in Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation buses. This facility will be available only on the day of examination i.e. 21st June 2026. To avail this facility, students will have to show only their NEET UG 2026 admit card while boarding the bus. Apart from this, no additional documents or pre-registration will be required. Students going to the examination center from any part of the state will benefit from this facility.
M. Ramaprasad Reddy said that APSRTC is making special arrangements to ensure that students do not face any travel related problems during examinations like NEET. He appealed to the students and parents to take full advantage of this facility provided by the government. He said that wherever needed, additional bus services will also be run so that no student faces difficulty in reaching the examination centre.

What is NEET UG?
NEET UG is an important exam for millions of students who dream of becoming doctors. This is the national level medical entrance examination of the country, through which students get admission in other medical courses including MBBS, BDS and AYUSH courses like BAMS, BHMS.
NEET UG is organized every year by the National Testing Agency (NTA). At present it is the only recognized entrance examination for admission to undergraduate level medical courses in government and private medical colleges.
How many marks does the exam carry?
The total marks of NEET UG is 720 marks. Admission to medical colleges is done on the basis of marks obtained in the examination and All India Rank. Candidates scoring better marks have more chances of getting a seat in reputed government medical colleges.
