Arjun Rampal made his debut in the year 2001 with the film ‘Moksha’. After this he was seen in ‘Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat’. Both these films were not successful. After this, his films like Deewanapan, Tehzeeb, Dil Hai Tumhaara, Humko Tumse Pyaar Hai, Yakeen, Darna Zaroori Hai, Dil Ka Rishta, Improbable, Vaada, Aankhen, Aelaan and Ek Ajnabee were also not successful at the box office.

Couldn’t pay house rent

While talking about his struggling days in an interview given to Pop Diaries, Arjun had said that when the shooting of his film Pali was going on, he was also facing financial crisis. He had said, ‘During that time I had no other source of income. I lived in seven bungalows in Andheri, Mumbai. My landlord Sardar ji was a very nice person. On the first of every month he would come and see me and I would see him. He would smile and ask, ‘It’s not right?’ And I would nod my head. Then he would say, ‘No problem, you will give it.’

Arjun has won the National Award

Arjun also played negative roles in the 2006 film ‘Don’, 2007 film ‘Om Shanti Om’ and ‘Dhurandhar’. Arjun, who has made a lot of flops in his career, has also won the National Award. He was awarded the National Award for Best Supporting Actor for the film Rock On.
