Kashmiris have been on the streets in Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) for the last 11 days against the Pakistani government. In such a situation, the Shahbaz Sharif government of Pakistan has devised a new strategy to crush this protest. The Pakistani government has declared the people who led the protest and 150 people involved in the protest together as terrorists.
For the 11th day, a crowd of more than 60 thousand people has gathered at the Idgah ground in Rawalkot, fearing for their lives, continuously raising slogans against the Pakistan government. Alarmed by this protest, the puppet government of PoJK has simultaneously issued a notification declaring 150 people as terrorists under Schedule 4.
Earlier, the Pakistani government and army had declared Awami Action Committee as terrorists to crush the protest in the beginning. Major organizers of the protest also include Shaukat Nawaz Mir, Umar Nazir, Khwaja Mehran and Bilal Khan.
Public support for protesters
According to Awami Action Committee, peaceful protests are continuing around Rawalkote and a large number of local people are supporting the movement. The organization says that the protesters are raising their voice regarding their basic demands and rights. Despite continuous restrictions and administrative pressure, the movement has not weakened. The protesters also claim that they are continuously getting public support.

Apart from this, the protesters have also alleged that Pakistani security forces took action against the convoys of protesters reaching Rawalakot from Neelum Valley. However, there is no report of any casualty. Awami Action Committee claims that efforts are being made to stop the movement through arrests, pressure and security action. Despite this, the presence of people remains at the protest sites.
