Virat Kohli can make a comeback in Team India very soon. Due to hamstring injury, Virat could not be a part of the ODI series against Afghanistan. This update has come at a time when BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia had said on Thursday that the ODI squad for the England tour will be announced in the next 3-4 days.

According to Times of India, a source said that Virat Kohli has started rehab and is recovering quickly from the injury. Virat may very soon come to the Center of Excellence (COE) in Bengaluru for fitness test. If everything goes well then Virat can make a comeback in the upcoming ODI series against England.

After Virat’s exit against Afghanistan, Yashasvi Jaiswal took his place. However, Ishan Kishan has got a chance in place of Kohli at the third position. Ishaan scored 34 runs in the first ODI against Afghanistan and played a century of 125 runs in the second match.

Squad will be announced soon

Indian team’s tour of England will start from July 1. First a T20 series of 5 matches will be played and a series of three ODI matches will be played from 14-19 July.

BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia said that the ODI squad will be announced within the next 3-4 days. Let us remind you that Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar had also given a hint that Virat could come back in the ODI series against England.
