After investigating the matter, PIB’s Fact Check team has declared the video misleading and said that the content shown in it is not a part of the official NEET exam packet. The agency said that it is mandatory to have OMR answer sheet along with the question paper of NEET exam, whereas no such document is visible in the viral video.
There are many flaws in the video, which prove that it is not the actual exam material. Therefore, students and parents should not rely on such unconfirmed information.
The question papers of NEET (UG) 2026 are not available with any person, institution or online platform before the examination. Strict arrangements have been implemented to keep the examination process secure and confidential.
Officials appeal to students
After the clarification issued by PIB, the officials appealed to the students to trust only NTA and government platforms for any information related to the system. NTA said that every year before important examinations, attempts are made to spread misleading videos, fake question papers and false claims on social media. Due to which confusion arises. In such cases, sharing any information in a hurry can also promote misinformation.
NTA also advised the candidates to focus on their preparation. And do not trust any message link or video without checking its authenticity. To maintain the confidentiality of the examination, security arrangements have been implemented at many levels. Experts believe that paying attention to rumors can affect the morale of students and also have a negative impact on their preparation. Therefore, candidates should remain calm and rely only on official updates.
