Bihar government has made both of them Deputy Superintendent of Police i.e. Deputy Superintendent. Cricketer Akash Deep gave this information through his social media page. On this news, fans started congratulating him, while on the other hand, he also started trolling him fiercely.
Akash Deep gave this information in a post on his Instagram page and praised Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary. He wrote, “I am overwhelmed, overwhelmed. Many thanks to the illustrious Chief Minister Mr. Samrat Chaudhary and Sports Minister Ms. Shreyasi Singh ji for recommending me and my fellow cricketer Mukesh for the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police today by the Bihar government. Your policy of encouraging sports and giving respect to players will inspire the youth to shine in sports. Jai Bharat, Jai Bihar.”
Why were cricketers trolled?
Mukesh Kumar and Akash Deep, who got the job of DSP from sports quota, started getting trolled on social media. Many users did not like this. One user wrote, ‘If you earn well, then if you get a job, then where will the unemployed go?’ Many people believe that Akash and Mukesh are not a part of the team at present and their contribution to India is also not that much.

Akash Deep and Mukesh Kumar are not part of the current Team India. Mukesh has played 3 Tests, 6 ODIs and 17 T20 matches for India. He played his last international match about 2 years ago in July 2024.

Talking about Akash Deep, he played his last international match in August last year. He has played 10 Tests for India, in which he has taken 28 wickets in 18 innings.
