BCCI announced Team India today i.e. on Saturday for the three-match ODI series against England. The Indian team has to play three ODI matches against England at home on July 14, July 16 and July 19. Yashasvi Jaiswal, who scored a century on Saturday, has not got a place in the 15-member Team India. Everyone is surprised by this decision.

Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a match-winning century in the third ODI against Afghanistan a day before the team announcement. In the third ODI match played in Chepauk, Yashasvi Jaiswal played a brilliant inning of 110 runs in 86 balls with 14 fours and three sixes. The very next day, on Sunday, he was dropped from India’s ODI team.

Virat Kohli did not play in the ODI series against Afghanistan due to injury. Yashasvi Jaiswal got a chance in his place. But captain Shubman Gill himself decided to play at number 3, and Yashasvi and Rohit Sharma opened the innings. Now Virat Kohli has returned to the team against England, while Yashasvi Jaiswal has been dropped from the team.
