Recruitment of Junior Judicial Assistant in High Court, salary will be Rs 62 thousand; These can apply

Chhattisgarh High Court has announced recruitment for the posts of Junior Judicial Assistant under Judicial Assistant Recruitment 2026. For which candidates can apply by visiting the official site. Candidates can apply for this recruitment till 20th July. Candidates can apply for this recruitment in offline mode.

According to the notification, under this recruitment drive, there will be recruitment on 20 posts of Library Assistant (Junior Judicial Assistant). Candidates have to send their application form to the Registrar General, Chhattisgarh High Court, Bodri, Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh) within the prescribed time limit.

What is the required qualification?

To apply for this recruitment, the candidate must have a graduate degree in Library Science from a recognized university. Also, the applicant must be an Indian citizen. Talking about the age limit, for general category candidates of other states, the minimum age has been fixed at 21 years and maximum age at 30 years.

At the same time, the original residents of Chhattisgarh have been given relief in the upper age limit and the maximum age for them has been fixed at 40 years. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes of the state can apply up to 45 years of age. Local women of Chhattisgarh have been given special relaxation and the maximum age limit for them has been kept at 50 years.

How much salary will you get?
Selected candidates will be given salary ranging from Rs 19,500 to Rs 62,000 per month under Level-4 of the pay matrix. This pay scale will be applicable as per the pay structure prescribed by the state government. Therefore, this recruitment is not only a good employment opportunity but is also considered special for the youth due to the attractive salary and government facilities.

How will the selection be done?
The recruitment process will be completed in two phases. Written examination will be conducted in the first phase. After this, on the basis of performance in the written examination, the candidates will be called for the second stage i.e. skill test. Candidates will be selected for skill test in the ratio of 1:15. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in written examination and skill test. If two candidates have equal marks then the candidate older in age will be given preference.

Candidates should read the application form carefully. After this, take a printout of the application form, fill all the information correctly and attach the necessary documents like educational certificate, identity card, passport size photo and signature. The prepared application form will have to be sent to the prescribed address through speed post. Candidates must ensure that their applications reach the High Court office on or before 5 PM on July 20, 2026, as applications received after that will not be accepted.
