Indian cricket team is going to go on UK tour very soon. Before that, Team India has suffered a setback, because all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy has been ruled out of the series against Ireland and England due to injury. In his place, all-rounder player Suryansh Shedge has been included in the T20 squad.
BCCI issued an official statement saying that Nitish had a problem in his quadriceps muscles after the third ODI match against Afghanistan. After examination, the medical team advised Nitish for rehab, after which he had to be ruled out of the Ireland and England T20 series.
Suryansh Shedge recently played for India A in the Tri Series. In this series, he scored 147 runs after playing 5 matches. He also played an inning of 72 runs against Sri Lanka A and this was his only half-century in the entire tournament. He also took 2 wickets in the tri series. Let us tell you that Suryansh Shedge is a batting all-rounder and bowls medium pace with his right hand.
Hardik Pandya is currently out of Team India due to injury, in his absence Nitish was continuously getting opportunities in India’s playing eleven. Now his injury is really a big blow for Team India. Suryansh may have to bowl more than expected on the pitches of Ireland and England.

India’s UK tour schedule
The Indian team will first go to Ireland, where two T20 matches will be played between the two teams on June 26 and June 28. After that, Team India will leave for England, where it has to play 5 T20 and three ODI matches. Team India’s tour of England will start from 1st July and continue till 19th July.
