Vaibhav Suryavanshi can be seen playing his first match for Team India very soon. The Indian team will first play a T20 series with Ireland. Two matches will be played between them on June 26 and June 28. Before that, 15 year old Vaibhav has got a big reason to be happy, because he has got the official jersey of his Team India. But his jersey number is more in discussion than the jersey.
Actually, BCCI has shared a video clip on social media, in which Indian support staff member Raghu goes to Vaibhav Suryavanshi in the hotel room. In the same video, it was revealed that Vaibhav will wear jersey number 3 in international cricket, but he has been playing for Rajasthan Royals in IPL wearing jersey number 12. Veteran players like Harbhajan Singh and Suresh Raina have played for India wearing the number 3 jersey.
The reason behind changing the jersey number of Vaibhav Suryavanshi is his mother. Before playing in the Rising Stars Asia Cup last year, Vaibhav had told that there is no point in playing wearing number 12 jersey, because we can directly choose number-3 by adding 1 and 2, so there is no point in double digit.
