Not even a month has passed since the IPL ended and a big trade deal has been finalized, that is Rishabh Pant’s return to Delhi Capitals. Pant was the most expensive player in IPL history, who was bought by Lucknow Super Giants for Rs 27 crore. After playing for LSG for 2 seasons and not performing as per their expectations, the team allowed him to return to DC. But now his price has become Rs 15 crore, which means a reduction of Rs 12 crore compared to the last season. However, this is also being seen as an improvement in the IPL market. Meanwhile, a big thing is also coming to light regarding the adjusted price value of Vaibhav Suryavanshi.
Rishabh Pant has played for Delhi Capitals for 9 seasons, during which he also took command of the team. Now his return to Delhi is like a homecoming, but the cut in money shows that even a player of Pant’s stature cannot escape performance-based correction. However, it is not that this reduced Pant’s status or reputation. If seen, Rs 15 crore is not a small amount, it is just a little more than half of Rs 27 crore. But based on his current performance this seems to be the right value.

According to a report, the rating-adjusted value of Rishabh Pant was estimated at Rs 14.28 crore, which means he got Rs 12.72 crore more. Now the market has reduced his value by Rs 12 crore to Rs 15 crore. It has also been said in the report that this deal is also like correcting the price of Pant. In this respect, considering the form of Vaibhav Suryavanshi, his value is very high.
Rishabh Pant’s statistics show why his value has decreased. He scored 312 runs in 14 matches with a strike rate of 138.5. His best score in this was 68 runs, these figures are not so bad but the expectations from a player worth Rs 27 crores are more than this. Although only runs are not seen, his contribution in winning the match, role in efforts and finishing etc. are seen, Pant’s season has not been effective.
In the report, Rishabh Pant was placed at number 39 in the impact chart, his score was given as 905.33. That means his figures are not bad, but there was a problem with the price tag of Rs 27 crore. Therefore, now the price of Rs 15 crore seems right, Pant will also realize this.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi price Rs 34.97 crore
Vaibhav Suryavanshi had a great IPL 2026 season, he won the Orange Cap title by scoring 776 runs in 16 matches. He won most of the titles including MVP, in which he also had the record of most sixes. He created history by hitting a total of 72 sixes in the entire season, before this the maximum number of sixes in a season was hit by Chris Gayle (59) in 2012. He had scored 432 runs from the boundary itself. These figures of the 15-year-old batsman seem unbelievable, he has now got a place in the Indian national team as well.
In the report, the rating adjusting price of Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been stated as Rs 34.97 crore. Their price to value ratio is 31.79 times higher. In the report, Vaibhav was ranked third in total profits in the monetary model and first among low-paid best performers.
