Harsh Goenka has made a post through his official X (Twitter) account. In which he wrote, ‘Rishabh Pant: Rs 27 crore – Rs 15 crore. Just imagine, if the CEO of a company is told that “Last year you got Rs 27 crore, but this year considering your performance and market demand, your salary is being reduced to Rs 15 crore.” It is difficult to even think like this in the corporate world.

He further wrote, ‘But in IPL, the price of players is decided by auction and on the basis of that their current value is decided. So thankfully most of us work in the corporate world. On this post of Goenka, mixed reactions are being seen from many social media users. Many people are criticizing Harsh Goenka on this, while others are joining him in making fun of Pant.

27 crore to 15 crore salary
Let us tell you that in the auction held before IPL 2025, LSG (Lucknow Super Giants) had bought Rishabh Pant for an amount of Rs 27 crore. This was the largest amount ever paid in the history of the league. Not only this, he was also the captain of this team. However, this fee has been reduced due to poor performance under his captaincy. Now Rishabh Pant will again play for Delhi Capitals, for which he is being given a salary of Rs 12 crore. Which is directly less than half of his previous salary.
