Pahalgam terror attack: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has started investigating the case of Pahalgam terror attack, in which 26 innocent people were brutally shot dead. This step has been taken on the orders of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
The NIA teams are camping at the place of attack from Wednesday. At the same time, now the NIA team is working more fast in search of evidence.
Witnesses will be questioned
The teams are headed by an IG, an DIG and an SP, who is an officer of the Anti -Terrorism Agency. They are interrogating witnesses who saw this terrible attack in the biseen valley with their own eyes. These witnesses are being asked very closely to understand the order of the incident.
The investigation team is closely examining the entry and exit points to understand the way the attackers. The NIA team is taking help from forensic and other experts. The whole place is investigating well so that this terrorist conspiracy can be revealed, which has shaken the country.
Will take important documents in its possession
NIA will now take possession of the primary investigation report (FIR), case diary, evidence and other important documents from the local police, so that this investigation can be carried forward at the national level. Earlier, the Jammu and Kashmir Police was conducting the initial investigation, but in view of the seriousness of the attack and the possibilities of its major conspiracy, it has now been handed over to the Central Agency.
Terrorist network will also investigate
The investigating agency will also investigate digital evidence, call data records (CDRs), social media activities and terrorist networks running from the border to expose the conspiracy behind the attack. Apart from this, the arrested persons arrested in this case will also be questioned.
