Pakistan’s Mohammad Aamir will play for MI, Mumbai franchise surprised with sudden decision

The 2026 season of ‘The Hundred League’ is going to start from July 21 in England. Before that, a big update has come out that Pakistan’s legendary fast bowler Mohammad Aamir has joined MI London. According to reports, Aamir is going to play for MI team in the upcoming season.

After Abrar Ahmed, Mohammad Aamir has become only the second Pakistani cricketer to be bought by an IPL franchise. Let us remind you that in The Hundred auction held this year, SRH franchise team Sunrisers Leeds had bought Abrar Ahmed. SRH franchise was heavily criticized for this decision.

49 percent ownership of MI London franchise is with IPL franchise Mumbai Indians and the remaining 51 percent stake is with Surrey Cricket Club. Aamir has also played in The Hundred League before. Till now he has been a part of London Spirits, Oval Invincibles and Northern Superchargers (now Sunrisers Leeds) teams. The Hundred League 2026 season will start from 21st July and will run till 16th August.
