NEET UG 2026 Answer Key: National Testing Agency has released the provisional answer key of Re-NEET UG examination 2026 held on June 21. Along with this, the process of registering objections on the answer key has also been started for the candidates. Candidates appearing in the examination can now visit the official website. neet.nta.nic.in You can see the answer key according to the set of your question paper by visiting and if you have any objection to any answer, you can register your objection online till 28th June.
This time NTA has adopted a different method to maintain transparency. The agency has released the provisional answer key even before the scanning of the OMR sheets is completed, so that candidates can get an opportunity to check the answers as soon as possible and point out any possible mistakes. The agency says that with this, review of expert objections and OMR evaluation will be possible simultaneously.
Objections can be lodged till June 28
Candidates can lodge objections on the answer key from June 25 to June 28 till 11:50 pm. For filing objection on each question, a processing fee of Rs 200 will have to be paid. If the experts committee finds any objection correct, then the fees for the concerned question will be refunded in full. At the same time, NTA has clarified that candidates should register objection only on those questions of question paper series code, which are mentioned on their examination booklet. If any question is amended then its benefit will be available to all the candidates, irrespective of the set of their question paper.
Check the provisional answer key like this
- To see the answer key of Re-NEET UG 2026, candidates should first visit the official website neet.nta.nic.in.
- After this click on the link of provisional answer key.
- Now select the series code of your question booklet and download the corresponding answer key and match the answers.

Register your objections like this
If there is any objection to any answer, candidates should enter the series code of their question booklet after logging into the website. After this select the relevant code, related question and upload the evidence in support of the same. NTA has advised that candidates should refer to NCERT books or other recognized academic books as proof. After checking all the details, a fee of Rs 200 per question will have to be deposited through debit card, credit card or net banking. After the application is submitted, no changes can be made in it. Therefore, it is advised to check all the information carefully before submission.
OMR sheet will be issued separately
NTA said that at present only provisional answer key has been released. The scanned OMR response sheets of the candidates will be made available later as their scanning process is still in progress. After completion of scanning, candidates will be given a separate opportunity to see their OMR sheet.
