Know what is the whole matter?
Actually, power supply was disrupted due to transformer failure at Gandhi Vatika power feeder located in Gandhi Colony of New Mandi Kotwali area of Muzaffarnagar. Allegation of assault on electricity workers
When Chief Engineer Vinod Kumar was discussed in this entire matter, he told that the Minister had said not to file a case. But, there was pushing and scuffling with the engineers and linemen of the department. For this reason, the department lodged a complaint in the police station, on which the police registered a case.
While giving clarification, Cabinet Minister Anil Kumar said that due to the scorching heat, the public is troubled by power cuts. Clear instructions have been given to the officials that there should be no unnecessary cuts and if the transformer gets damaged then it should be replaced within the stipulated time. If it takes 20 to 30 hours to change a transformer in an urban area, then it is natural to cause public anger.
He said that the authorities should restore power supply by replacing the transformer on time, so that law and order situation does not arise.
