The Supreme Court will hear the Bharat Bhushan Tiwari encounter case in Bhojpur, Bihar on Tuesday (June 30). The bench of Justice MM Sundaresh and Justice Sheel Nagu will hear. Supreme Court lawyer Vishal Tiwari has filed a petition in SC demanding a CBI investigation. In the petition, there has also been a demand to constitute an independent expert committee under the leadership of a retired judge of the Supreme Court.
The petition demands that an FIR be registered against the policemen involved in the encounter and the matter should be investigated by the CBI. The petitioner alleges that the death of Bharat Bhushan Tiwari is a case of murder and an impartial investigation is necessary.
