Pakistan is upset after India suspended the Indus Water Treaty. Earlier he appealed to India to restore the agreement, but after the stand from Delhi became clear, he is now confused. Pakistan’s MPs, ministers and big leaders are pleading and even threatening to save the treaty on different forums of the world.
An international conference was organized in Islamabad, Pakistan on the Indus Agreement. Many ministers of Pakistan, MPs and international law and water experts participated in it. The objective of this conference was to find out how to gain world support against India’s decision. Pakistan Peoples Party leader Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has again said something provocative.
Indus Water Treaty was not a favor to PAK: Bilawal
Bilawal Bhutto said, ‘The Indus Water Treaty was not a favor to Pakistan, rather it is an international agreement between the two countries.’ PPP Chief said that Indus Water Agreement should be respected.

Questions will be raised on any treaty in the world: Malik
Pakistan’s Environment Minister Musaddiq Malik, while advocating for the Indus Water Treaty, said, ‘If a powerful country can unilaterally suspend any international treaty, then questions will be raised on the credibility of any treaty in the world.’ He said that the Indus Water Agreement is one of the strongest international agreements in the world.
Ishaq Dar threatened India
Pakistan’s Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has threatened India in this conference. He said, ‘The Indus Water Treaty is not just an agreement to share water, but a strong foundation for peace, stability and cooperation in South Asia.’ He said that shared water resources should never be weaponized.
