ICC T20I Rankings, Ishan Kishan on Top: Indian wicketkeeper batsman Ishan Kishan did wonders and achieved the number one position in the T20 rankings. The International Cricket Council (ICC) released the latest rankings on Wednesday (01 July), in which Ishan Kishan was seen at the top in T20.

Ishaan snatched the number-1 position from fellow player Abhishek Sharma, who has now slipped to second place. Ishaan’s rating has become 876, while Abhishek’s rating is 869. Pakistan’s batsman Sahibzada Farhan is also present in the top ranking, who is at the third position. His rating is 848. However, there has been no change in his position in the latest rankings.

Moving forward, England’s Phil Salt is at fourth position with 792 ratings and Sri Lanka’s Pathum Nissanka is at fifth position with 751 ratings. In this way, two players from India, one from Pakistan, one from England and one from Sri Lanka are included in the top-5 positions of the ranking.

Suryakumar Yadav suffered loss

Suryakumar Yadav, who was earlier at 7th position, has slipped to 8th position. Let us tell you that with the loss of captaincy, Surya is also out of Team India. There seems to be very little hope of his return to the team. There are a total of 4 Indian batsmen inside the top-10. Tilak Verma, number six, is also present in it.

Indian players suffered loss in bowling rankings

If we look at the T20 ranking of bowling, Indian players were seen suffering losses in that too. Varun Chakraborty, the only Indian bowler present inside the top-5, has slipped one place to third place. Now Varun’s rating is 725. Whereas Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah, who was earlier at number 5, has slipped to sixth position. Bumrah’s rating is 688. Varun and Bumrah are the only two Indians present inside the top-10 in the bowling rankings.
