Now after so long of his death, his last rites are being performed. From July 3 to July 9, his funeral procession will be taken to many cities of Iran and Iraq. After this he will be laid to rest.
India paid tribute to Ali Khamenei
Apart from PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti and Congress leader Salman Khurshid, a formal delegation of the Indian government has also joined the nationwide mourning in Iran. On behalf of the Government of India, Bihar Governor Lieutenant General (Retd) Syed Ata Hasnain and Minister of State for External Affairs Pabitra Margherita also attended his funeral. According to Aljazeera, Tehran Municipality official Amin Tavaklizadeh said that millions of people can attend the funeral of Martyr Khamenei on July 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 in different cities of Iran. We have made preparations keeping in mind the possible participation of 1.5 to 2 crore people in the capital Tehran.

Apart from this, the President of Iran has also appealed to all the people to attend the funeral of the martyred leader. He has said that when the brave Iran is preparing to bid the last farewell to the true servant of Islam and revolution, I appeal to everyone to participate in it with full enthusiasm.
