Devotees who came from Ayodhya and Kanpur told about the difficulties:
The devotees who arrived from Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh say that they have been trying for registration for the last one day, but have not been successful till now.
A devotee who arrived with his family from Kanpur told that he deliberately did not register online because the date of darshan there was much later. He says that if the date was given too late, then by then the naturally formed sacred ice Shivalinga would have started disappearing, due to which the purpose of the yatra would have remained unfulfilled.
Increasing crowd becomes a challenge for the administration:
The administration has made arrangements for on-spot registration in Jammu for the convenience of unregistered devotees. But due to limited daily quota and continuously increasing number of devotees, the pressure on the system is clearly visible.
Security arrangements and necessary facilities have been provided at the registration centres, but due to the crowd being more than expected, the waiting time is continuously increasing. The authorities are trying to allow as many devotees as possible to undertake the yatra in a safe and orderly manner.
