BCCI made changes in Team India for the ODI series against England, return of the dreaded all-rounder after 2 years

BCCI has made major changes in Team India for the three-match ODI series against England. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will also be seen playing against England. Nitish Kumar Reddy will not be playing in this series, who is out of Team India due to injury. BCCI has declared Shivam Dubey as the replacement of Nitish Reddy. Nitish was injured in the ODI series against Afghanistan, after which he could not even play in the series against England.

Nitish Kumar Reddy was injured in the third ODI match against Afghanistan. He also faced fitness related problems in the first ODI match played in Dharamshala, after which he could not play in the second ODI against Afghanistan. After that he was also dropped from the series against Ireland and England.

Shivam Dubey returns after 2 years

Shivam Dubey has returned to the ODI team after almost 2 years. Shivam Dubey has been a regular part of the T20 team, but played his last ODI against Sri Lanka in August 2024. Now after two years, he may get an opportunity to play an ODI match for Team India.

When BCCI announced the Indian squad for the ODI series against England, Virat Kohli’s playing depended on his fitness. But now ‘Subject to Fitness’ has been removed from Virat’s name. Let us tell you that the three-match ODI series between India and England will be played from July 14-July 19.

Indian squad for ODI series against England: Shreyas Iyer (captain), Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Verma (vice-captain), Ishan Kishan (wicketkeeper), Shivam Dubey, Suryansh Shedge, Rinku Singh, Harsh Dubey, Varun Chakraborty, Prince Yadav, Yash Thakur, Ashok Sharma, Mayank Yadav, Prabhsimran Singh.
