An amazing performance was seen in the first match of the three-match ODI series being played between Zimbabwe and Bangladesh. Batting first at the Harare Sports Club in Harare, Zimbabwe was all out for 141 runs in 36.4 overs. After this it seemed that Bangladesh would easily win, but the opposite happened. Zimbabwe, who came out for chase, all out Bangladesh for just 116 runs in 33.1 overs and won by 25 runs.
This was the lowest score to be defended in a full 50 over match (excluding reserve target and reduced overs) against Bangladesh in ODI. In this way Zimbabwe set a big record in the match. Brad Evans and captain Richard Ngarawa made important contributions in helping Zimbabwe win. Both took maximum 3-3 wickets. Apart from this, Blessing Muzarabani and Newman Nyamhuri took 2-2 wickets.

Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bowl. Zimbabwe, who came to bat first, was all out on a total of less than 150 (141 runs). Rest Wesley Madhevere and Craig Irwin were out on zero without opening the account. During this, Nahid Rana took 6 wickets for Bangladesh.
Bangladesh, who came for the chase, could not even touch the mark of 120 runs. Noorul Hasan played the biggest inning of 31 runs for the team.
