UGC NET Answer Key may be released soon
The UGC NET June 2026 exam was conducted between June 22 and June 30 at many examination centers across the country. Now after the exam is over, lakhs of candidates are waiting for the answer key. Like every year, this time too it is expected that NTA will soon release the provisional answer key on the official website.
What does the trend of last years tell?
If we look at the record of the last three years, NTA has released the answer key every time in the first week of July. In the year 2025, the examination was held between 25 to 29 June and the answer key was released on 6 July. Whereas in 2024, the examination was held from 18th to 26th June and the answer key came only on 6th July. In the year 2023 also, the examination was held between 13 to 22 June and the answer key was released on 6 July. Seeing this trend, candidates are hopeful that this time too the answer key may be released soon.
What will you get with the answer key?
With the release of the answer key, candidates will also be able to download their response sheet and question paper. With this, they will be able to match the answers given by them and understand how many questions they have got correct.

What to do if there is an objection to any answer?
If any candidate feels that the answer to any question has been given wrongly in the answer key, then he can lodge an objection online within the stipulated time. For this, necessary documents will have to be uploaded in support of the concerned question and the prescribed fee for each question will also have to be deposited. After examining all the objections, NTA will release the final answer key.
