Jam caused due to subsidence of part of National Highway
Due to subsidence of a part of the National Highway (NH-48), there was a several kilometer long jam on the Delhi Jaipur Highway, causing a lot of trouble to the people. After this, Gurugram traffic police reached the spot and tried to clear the jam. The traffic police diverted the route for the convenience of the drivers. Apart from this, there have been reports of road subsidence in other areas of Gurugram also.
Waterlogging at many places exposed the preparations
In fact, the situation of waterlogging at many places due to a few hours of rain on Tuesday has exposed the truth of the administration’s pre-monsoon preparations. Pictures of water filling the potholes on the road outside the residence of Haryana Cabinet Minister Rao Narbir Singh have also surfaced.
Apart from this, heavy traffic jams have been seen due to waterlogging on many major routes including Delhi-Jaipur Highway, Hero Honda Chowk, Sector-15 and service lane of Expressway. Thousands of people had to remain stuck in the traffic jam for hours. Meanwhile, Gurugram Police has also issued a traffic advisory for the general public, so that the traffic remains smooth and safe.
