A big update has come out for lakhs of candidates appearing for RRB JE CBT-2 exam. Railway Recruitment Board has released the provisional answer key of the examination. Along with this, the response sheet and question paper of the candidates have also been made available. Now the candidates can estimate their probable marks and if there is any objection to any answer, then they can register it online within the stipulated time.
RRB JE CBT 2 answer key released
Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the provisional answer key of Junior Engineer (JE) CBT-2 exam 2026. Candidates can now check the answer key, response sheet and question paper by visiting the official website with the help of their login details. With this, candidates can also estimate the probable score by matching their given answers.
Recruitment will be done on 2585 posts
A total of 2,585 vacant posts will be filled in Indian Railways through this recruitment drive. These posts include posts like Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent, Chemical Supervisor and Metallurgical Assistant. Further recruitment process will be completed after CBT-2 examination.
Objections can be lodged till 17th July
If any candidate has any objection to any answer given in the answer key, then he can lodge a challenge through online medium. The process of filing objection has started and its last date has been fixed as 17 July 2026 at 11:50 pm. After scrutiny of all the objections, the final answer key will be released and the result will be prepared on the basis of the same.

Understand the marking scheme
RRB JE CBT-2 exam is of total 150 marks. 1 mark is given for each correct answer. One-third (1/3) marks are deducted for wrong answer. However, there is no negative marking on the questions which have not been answered. Candidates can estimate their probable marks on this basis.

step 1: First of all go to the official website of Railway Recruitment Board https://www.rrbcdg.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on RRB JE CBT 2 Answer Key 2026 or related link on the home page.
Step 3: Now login by entering your registration number and date of birth.
Step 4: After login, your Answer Key, Response Sheet and Question Paper will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Download all the documents and match your answers.
