There is a situation of tension in the entire Middle East due to the war between America and Iran. America has so far attacked many targets in Tehran. Iran also gave a befitting reply and attacked at many places. Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has claimed that two of its oil tankers have been targeted in the Strait of Hormuz. An Indian person has died in this missile attack.
According to the report of ‘Al Jazeera’, the UAE Defense Ministry has claimed that two of its oil tankers have been attacked by cruise missiles near Hormuz located in the Gulf of Oman. In this attack, an Indian crew member deployed on a tanker named ‘Mombasa’ died, while eight other people were injured. However, there has been no immediate official reaction from Iran on this claim.
Meanwhile, there have also been reports of at least six missiles being fired from Yemen towards Saudi Arabia’s Abha Airport. Several explosions were heard in Asir area of Saudi Arabia. Due to the war, security arrangements and vigilance have been increased in the area.
Yemen issued warning
Yemen’s army (Huthi) has warned all international airlines not to fly from Saudi Arabia’s airspace. The Houthi group says that it will not accept the ongoing military action and blockade by Saudi Arabia at any cost and will continue to respond to it.
At the same time, Iranian media has claimed that an Iranian plane that reached Yemen amid the bombing at Hudaydah Airport returned safely to Tehran’s Imam Khomeini International Airport. After the safe return of the plane, the pilot and crew were welcomed at the airport.
