Giving a big relief to lakhs of candidates who appeared in the medical entrance examination NEET UG 2026, NTA has released their scanned OMR answer sheets and recorded responses. Now candidates can match the answers given by them. If they notice any discrepancy or discrepancy in the recorded response, they can also lodge an online objection within the stipulated time limit.
NTA has made this facility available on its official website neet.nta.nic.in. Along with this, the scanned OMR sheet of the candidates has also been sent to their registered e-mail ID, so that they do not face any problem in viewing the records. This time, the agency has also implemented OTP based two-factor authentication to further strengthen the security. That is, after logging in, candidates will have to verify their identity through OTP received on mobile or e-mail.
Through this process, candidates can check whether the answers they filled on the OMR sheet during the examination have been entered correctly in the system or not. If any discrepancy is found in the recorded response to a question, an online challenge can be lodged against it.
Objection till 15th July
According to NTA, the process of Recorded Response Challenge has started from 13th July 2026 and candidates can submit objections till 15th July 2026. For filing objection on each question, a processing fee of Rs 200 will have to be paid. This fee can be deposited online through debit card, credit card or net banking. Any challenge submitted after the expiry of the stipulated time limit or without submission of fee will not be considered.
