Recruitment begins for 4,723 government posts in Karnataka, know who can apply

Different posts of many departments have been included in this recruitment drive. These include KSRP Police Constable, Village Administrative Officer (VAO), Surveyor, Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions Society (KREIS) teacher and various departmental posts of Kalyan Karnataka cadre. Separate notifications have also been issued for different posts.

Generally the minimum age for all posts is kept at 18 years, while the maximum age is decided according to the post. Reserved category candidates will get age relaxation as per government rules.

The educational qualification for all the posts has also been fixed as 10th, 12th, Diploma, Graduation, B.Ed or other related degree as per the post.

Candidates can be selected on the basis of written examination, physical test, skill test, document verification and medical examination as per the respective post. The application fee has also been determined separately for all posts and categories. Candidates must see the official notification of the concerned post before applying.

While applying online, candidates will have to keep 10th and 12th marksheet, educational certificate, Aadhar card or other identity card, passport size photograph, signature, caste certificate (if applicable), income certificate (if applicable) and other necessary documents ready. All documents have to be uploaded in the prescribed format.
