A love story has come to light from the open jail of Jodhpur, which has shocked everyone. Two prisoners convicted of murder fell in love with each other while working in the fields. Now after the approval of Rajasthan High Court, both of them will take seven rounds in the jail premises on July 22. The court has considered this as part of the right to life and personal liberty under Article 21 of the Constitution.
In fact, the story of Mularam, convicted of murder, who is serving his sentence in the open air camp in Mandore, Jodhpur, and Seema, convicted in the murder of her husband, is also similar. Both of them met while working in the fields in the open jail. Conversation started and gradually this relationship turned into love. Now both of them have decided to spend their life together.

The division bench of Justice Dr. Pushpendra Singh Bhati and Justice Praveer Bhatnagar of Rajasthan High Court, while allowing the marriage of both, said that marriage of two adult persons of their own free will is a part of the right to life and personal liberty granted under Article 21 of the Indian Constitution.

Mularam is a resident of Adsinga village of Nagaur district. In the year 2023, he was convicted in cases of murder, destruction of evidence and misappropriation of property. Due to good conduct he is staying in Mandore Open Air Camp. Seema is also serving a sentence in a murder case and is currently out on parole.
Green signal also received from the government
Both of them told the court that they wanted to get married of their own free will and this would be an important step towards their social rehabilitation. The state government also did not raise any objection to the marriage in its report.
The wedding will take place on 22nd July
The High Court has directed that the marriage should be solemnized on July 22 following the prescribed rules and security arrangements. A maximum of 21 family members from both sides will be allowed to attend the ceremony. Both parties will bear the entire expenses of the marriage themselves. This decision is not only a love story, but also gives the message that prisoners serving sentence also have the right to live a dignified life and social rehabilitation under the Constitution.
