Cases of Covid-19 have once again been reported in Andhra Pradesh. Between June 26 and July 16, 12 new Corona patients have been confirmed in four different districts of the state. During this period, four patients have lost their lives, but the health department has clarified that there is no need for the general public to panic.
Main cause of death is chronic serious diseases
Health and Family Welfare Department Secretary Veera Pandian said that the 4 patients who died (3 from Kadapa and 1 from Kakinada) were already suffering from serious diseases. He had chronic problems related to high BP, sugar and kidney.
Where and how many patients were found?
A total of 67 people were tested for Covid between June 26 and July 15, out of which 12 people turned out to be positive. Let us tell you that the test of a patient from Kakinada was done in Vellore, Tamil Nadu.
How many patients were found in which district?
- Cuddapah: 8 patients. The first case of the year was found here on June 26.
- Guntur: 2 patients
- Visakhapatnam: 1 patient
- Kakinada: 1 patient
It is a matter of relief that all these cases have come from different places. Many patients have not been found together in any one area. This means that at present a cluster of Covid is not forming.
Current status of patients
- Home Isolation: 3 patients
- admitted to hospital: 2 patients
- Discharge: 3 patients
- Total deaths: 4
Let us tell you that on July 9, 5 samples were sent to the National Institute of Virology (NIV) lab of Pune to detect the variant of the virus.
What is the condition of other states of the country?
Since July 1, a total of 339 cases of corona have been reported across the country. The situation of some major states is like this.
- Kerala: 115 cases
- Karnataka: 64 cases
- Maharashtra: 43 cases
- Tamil Nadu: 39 cases
- Andaman and Nicobar: 18 cases
- Delhi: 18 cases
- Rajasthan: 12 cases
Health Minister made this appeal
Andhra Pradesh Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav has appealed that the government is constantly monitoring the entire situation. All hospitals, doctors and medical staff have been alerted. People should not fall into any kind of panic. Just take necessary precautions and follow the guidelines of the health department.
