US Iran conflict: Tension between America and Iran is continuously increasing. America carried out air strikes on Iran for the seventh consecutive night. US Central Command (CENTCOM) said that the purpose of these attacks is to weaken Iran’s military strength. This action is being taken on the instructions of President Donald Trump. Earlier, Trump had warned that if necessary, attacks on important targets of Iran would be intensified. He had also said that the option of ground military action is also open if needed.
Iran claims- American MQ-9 drone shot down
Iran has made many big claims amid military action. According to Iranian media and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), an American MQ-9 Reaper drone flying over Bushehr has been shot down. Iran claims that this drone, worth about $34 million, was destroyed within a few moments. However, America has not confirmed this claim.
Iran’s warning – there will be a big response if attacks continue
Mohsen Rezaei, an advisor to Iran’s supreme leader, said that if the US attacks continue for a few more days, Iran will launch a retaliatory military operation with full force. The Iranian Army also warned that American companies present in countries whose land or military bases will be used by America could also be targeted.

Big claims regarding Hormuz Strait and American bases
Iran’s state TV and Tasnim news agency claimed that two oil tankers caught fire after the explosion south of the Strait of Hormuz. Iran says that it had already warned the ships not to pass through this route. IRGC also claimed that the Strait of Hormuz has become completely unsafe due to US military action. Apart from this, Iranian media claimed that missile attacks were carried out on American military bases in Kuwait and Jordan and Salti Air Base in Jordan was also targeted. These claims have not been independently verified.
News of explosions in many cities of Iran
According to Iranian media, the scope of American attacks has now extended inside the country. Several explosions were reported in Yazd, Fars and Ahwaz city of Khuzestan province. Local media has claimed missile attacks in these areas.
