Deepke said- Police is taking strict action
Abhijeet Deepke wrote in his post, “Delhi Police is taking action at Jantar Mantar. People are being assaulted and Sonam sir has been forcibly taken from there.” After his post, the discussion regarding this intensified on social media.

Claimed to have attempted attack earlier also
Earlier on Friday late night at around 11:44 pm, Abhijeet Deepke had made another post on X claiming that some people tried to attack Sonam Wangchuk at Jantar Mantar by throwing an object. He had said that Sonam Wangchuk remained safe in this incident and she was not injured.
Deepke had also alleged that a few days ago he had received information from a police insider that people would be sent to disrupt the peaceful protest. He said that if Sonam Wangchuk suffers any kind of loss then it will be the responsibility of the government.
Fast continues on 21st day
Sonam Wangchuk’s fast at Jantar Mantar demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan reached its 21st day on Saturday. Due to his continuous fast, concerns are being raised about his health. Meanwhile, he is also getting the support of opposition leaders. Abhijeet Deepke said that until the students get justice, the movement will continue and it will not be ended.
