He warned that the economic loss to America from this pollution could also be added to the tariffs imposed on Canada.

He said that he will soon talk to Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney on this issue and will demand to add the damage caused by pollution to the tariff already imposed on Canada.
Bad air in many American cities
Smoke from forest fires in Canada and northern Minnesota has reached the Midwest and north-eastern states of America. Due to this, air quality alert has been issued in many states. Due to smoke, concern has also increased regarding the World Cup final to be held in the open stadiums of New York and New Jersey on Sunday. Officials say that they are constantly monitoring the weather and air quality. According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of smoke can also change with the change in wind direction.
More than 200 forest fires in Canada
According to local officials, more than 200 forest fires are out of control in many areas of Canada, including Ontario. Many communities have been sent to safe places. However, no casualties have been reported so far in Ontario.
Health experts warned
Health experts say that the fine particles present in the smoke emanating from forest fires can cause difficulty in breathing and can prove to be more dangerous for the elderly, children and people who are already sick. Scientists believe that due to reasons related to climate change like rising temperatures and drought, incidents of forest fires are continuously increasing in the world.
