
The first option is BDS i.e. Bachelor of Dental Surgery, which is a five-year course and in this one studies to become a dentist. The second is BAMS i.e. Ayurvedic Medicine course, in which along with the old Ayurvedic medical system, information about modern treatment is also given. This course is also of five years.

The third option is BHMS, i.e. a course of study of homeopathy, in which treatment is taught with medicines without side effects. Nowadays many people are preferring homeopathy treatment, hence there is a good future in this field also. Fourth is BUMS, this is a course that teaches treatment according to the Unani method. In this also the medical methods of old times are taught as per today’s standards.

B.Sc Nursing comes at number five, in which complete training is given to become a nurse. This course is of three to four years and there is a lot of demand for these nurses in foreign countries too, hence, there is an opportunity to get a job in a foreign country. The sixth course is BPT i.e. Physiotherapy, in which treatment of body pain and injury is taught without medicine through exercise and massage. This course is also of four and a half years.

The seventh option is BVSc & AH, i.e. a course related to veterinary medicine. This is a great career for students who are fond of animals, in which they are taught how to treat animals. This course lasts for five and a half years. The eighth is B.Pharm, which is a study related to medicines. In this course, students are given training in making medicines and giving information about them, and later on they get a chance to become pharmacists.

The ninth course is BMLT, i.e. Medical Lab Technology. In this, one is taught to test blood and other tests in the lab, in today’s time there is a demand for it in every hospital and lab. The tenth and last option is paramedical courses like B.Sc Radiology or Optometry, in which studies related to X-ray, scan and eye examination are done. All these courses are completed in less time and one gets job quickly. Admission in all these courses is done on the basis of NEET score, but for some courses, there is separate counseling also. The fees of most courses are also much less than MBBS.
