Padma Awards 2025: India’s President Draupadi Murmu today honored the Winners of the Padma Awards with awards. A special ceremony was held on 28 April at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi, in which the winners were awarded the award. Many faces of the cinema world also included the award. These include the names of Shekhar Kapoor to singer Arijit Singh.
Pankaj Udhas, a veteran singer, was posthumously awarded the Padma Bhushan for his contribution in the field of art. His wife Farida Pankaj Udhas received the award from President Draupadi Murmu. Shekhar Kapoor also got Padma Bhushan. During this, the director arrived to receive the award wearing a black color sherwani.

Ajit Kumar
Ajit Kumar also received the Padma Bhushan Award. When the award winners were announced in January, Ajit said in a statement- I feel very humble and honored to receive the prestigious Padma award of the President of India. I express my heartfelt gratitude to the Honorable President of India, Mrs. Draupadi Murmu and Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for this prestigious honor. It is a privilege for me to gain recognition at this level and I am grateful for this generous acceptance of my contribution to our nation.

Nandamuri Balakrishna
South actor Nandamuri Balakrishna was also awarded the Padma Bhushan Award. He arrived at the traditional outfit in Andhra Pradesh to take the award from President Draupadi Murmu. He was seen putting shawls with off white dhoti-kurta.

Singer Arijit Singh was also awarded the Padma Bhushan Award for his significant contribution in singing. Ricky Rage was also included in this list. At the same time, singer Jaspinder Narula received the Padmashri Award from President Murmu.
