Well-known Bollywood actor Tusshar Kapoor has completed 25 years in Hindi cinema. On this special occasion, he spoke openly about his career, the pressure of being a star kid and his film journey. In an interview, Tushar told that being the son of veteran actor Jitendra, different expectations were always expected from him. Let us know what he said.
25 years of career described as a journey of learning
In an interview given to Times of India, Tushar recalled his film journey and said that the last 25 years have been full of learning and experience for him. He said, ‘This journey of 25 years has taught me a lot. In olden times, one got a chance to live the entire journey of a film from its release to its outcome. Today one feels the absence of that period.

Referring to his father Jitendra, he said, ‘I have seen both success and failure in my father’s career. From him I learned that neither success nor failure lasts forever. Therefore, in both situations it is important to remain connected to the ground.
‘Being a star kid also has its own pressure’
Tusshar Kapoor said that people coming from film families also face a different kind of pressure. He said, ‘There are many expectations associated with being a star kid. People want you to live, look a certain way and always remain in the limelight. Describing himself as an introvert, Tusshar said, ‘I have never been like a typical star kid. I always focused on my work and kept my personal life private.
There is pressure on star kids…
He further said, ‘At the beginning of my career, I was advised that it is important to look like a star not only in films but also in real life. It was said that go to parties, stay in the news, but I never tried to do that. I felt that my work would create my identity. People often talk about the struggle of outsiders, but star kids also face a different kind of pressure. Many kinds of expectations are made from them also.

Expressed gratitude for ‘Golmaal’ franchise
Tusshar Kapoor thanked director Rohit Shetty and said that ‘Golmaal’ franchise gave a new identity to his career. He said, ‘I am thankful to Rohit Shetty for giving me such a memorable character. Now I am very excited to work with the team again for ‘Golmaal 5’.

Tusshar Kapoor expressed happiness over the audience’s love for his recent film ‘Welcome to the Jungle’. He said, ‘Working with more than 30 artists was like a reunion. There is no fear of being buried in such films, but there is definitely a concern about creating one’s identity and attracting people’s attention.
