Directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, actor Kartik Aryan played the lead character (Chandu) in this film. Apart from Kartik Aryan, Vijay Raj (coach), Bhuvan Arora, and Rajpal Yadav played important roles in it.

Inspirational story of Murlikant Petkar
This is the story of Murlikant Petkar, a resident of Sangli, Maharashtra, who dreams of winning a gold medal in the Olympics since childhood. Petkar joins the Indian Army (EME Corps) and becomes a brilliant boxer there, but during the Indo-Pak war of 1965, he gets shot and his body becomes paralyzed, due to which he gives up boxing, learns swimming and creates history by winning the first individual gold medal for the country in the 1972 Heidelberg Paralympics.
At the same time, Karthik broke his ‘lover boy’ image by acting in this film. His physical transformation and emotional acting won a lot of appreciation from the audience.
