‘Don’t consider PM’s residence as a palace’, Pappu Yadav bluntly amid Congress protest in Delhi

On Tuesday (July 21, 2026) evening in Delhi, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav along with Congress MPs Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, who were protesting outside the Prime Minister’s residence, were detained by the police, after which a political uproar broke out. Purnia MP Pappu Yadav has attacked while posting on X.

Pappu Yadav said, “The brutal arrest of all the MPs including Rahul Gandhi ji, Kharge Saheb, Priyanka Didi… will shake the foundation of BJP, the dictator’s departure is certain. Do not consider the PM residence as a palace, you have got it to serve the public, if you commit atrocities, Modi ji will have to vacate the PM residence! It belongs to the public and not anyone’s inheritance!”

We will be on the streets across the country: Pappu Yadav

MP Pappu Yadav has warned of agitation in another post on X. Along with this post, Pappu Yadav has shared two pictures of Rahul Gandhi. He writes, “Every drop of your blood, Rahul ji, will bring revolution and drive away the corrupt government! The dictatorial government has brutally attacked Rahul Gandhi ji, his nose is bleeding. They have detained him. We will be on the streets against this in the entire country!”

MP Pappu Yadav, who attacked the Prime Minister, has written on Instagram, “Modi ji, answer… give account of every lathi, you are not a master but a servant of the country, apologize to the students, resign…”

On the other hand, targeting the central government, Congress leader Kanhaiya Kumar has written on his X handle, “This government of sticks and bullets, this government is anti-youth, this government is anti-students, this time it will not work.”
