The protests of Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) are still going on. After the lathicharge during the Parliament march on Monday, the opposition raised issues in both the houses of the Parliament, after which the proceedings of the Parliament could not continue. Later, Congress MPs led by Rahul Gandhi protested outside the Prime Minister’s residence. Akhilesh Yadav supported the Congress protest by reaching there, from where everyone was detained and released late in the night.

Politics has started on this matter. Aam Aadmi Party has alleged that the youth were not even allowed to go outside the Parliament and the BJP government allowed Rahul Gandhi to sit on dharna outside the PM’s residence. Whereas it has been opposed by CJP.

Dharmendra Pradhan gave statement on NEET

After the students’ demonstration, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan gave a statement on Tuesday. He said that the government is committed to discussing in Parliament the issues related to NEET and solutions to every legitimate concern of the youth. Pradhan also criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for staging a protest outside the official residence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He alleged that the opposition leader in the Lok Sabha was using students as a ‘political weapon’ to create disruption during the monsoon session of Parliament. The Education Minister said that the students of India deserve better treatment than being used as pawns of any political campaign.

Rahul Gandhi, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and several other senior leaders sat on a dharna outside the Prime Minister’s residence and demanded Pradhan’s resignation over the police action against students protesting in the NEET question paper leak case.

JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh met Wangchuk

Union ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh met social activist Sonam Wangchuk at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram on Tuesday. After being discharged from Safdarjung Hospital on Tuesday evening following the order of Delhi High Court, Wangchuk was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram for treatment. Wangchuk was brought to Medanta Hospital by ambulance under tight security at around 7.30 pm. A hospital official said that Wangchuk has been admitted to ICU-8 under the supervision of internal medicine specialist Dr. Sushila Kataria.
