Many policemen were injured during the demonstration of Cockroach Janata Party. Many youth were also injured along with them. Union Minister JP Nadda reached Delhi’s RML Hospital on Tuesday (July 21) to meet the injured. He also interacted with the team of doctors who are treating the injured. Earlier on Monday, Nadda had met CJP spokesperson Saurabh Das and Ashutosh Ranka and listened to their demands.
The youth had marched from Jantar Mantar in Delhi towards Parliament on Monday. During this time, the police used lathi charge and tear gas shells to control the crowd, when many protesters were injured. Many policemen were also injured. The protesters also vandalized many places. Stones were seen scattered on the roads from Kont Place to Janpath in Delhi.

Congress cornered the government on the issue of lathicharge
Congress has taken a jibe at the Centre. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge shared a post on X and said, ‘We wanted a discussion on this issue, after which the Home Minister should give a statement, but the government silenced us. After all, why were the protesting children lathi charged and beaten? If these issues are not discussed even in Parliament, then where should we talk? This government itself is creating anarchy, provoking people, so that they can be lathicharged, beaten, intimidated and put in jail.

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said, ‘This is really a very sad situation. The job of Parliament is to discuss. There are many issues before us which are very important in the country and this capital city. We saw what happened yesterday and in such circumstances if Parliament is not the place to discuss these, then what is the place? I think the Speaker should take matters into his own hands and end this deadlock in Parliament by calling for an open discussion on the entire situation.
