News agency ANI has shared this video of Lalit Modi. In which he is saying, ‘I am very happy with the decision taken yesterday. Seriously, this has been a great day. I fought for 16 years and whatever I told the media and everyone else ultimately proved to be true. I am very happy that the tribunal has ruled in my favour.

He further said, ‘I was only worried about the well-being of IPL and nothing else. That is most important for me. Now that chapter is behind me, I will move forward with my life and am eagerly waiting to return to India. I will probably come back at the end of this year or early next year. I am going to have a grandchild in October and hopefully all will be well and I will come back to India. After this decision, he also celebrated his victory, the video of which he shared through his official X account.

However, Lalit Modi has also made it clear that he will stay in London only but will keep visiting India. He will establish his son in the family business in India and since India is his motherland, he will keep coming here.
Relief in FEMA case
Lalit Modi has got a big relief in the FEMA case of 2009. The Appellate Tribunal under the Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators (Forfeiture of Property) Act (SAFEMA) has given major relief to Lalit Modi and other appellants in the 2009 IPL South Africa FEMA case. The tribunal quashed most of the findings and penalties imposed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Lalit Modi looked very happy with this decision and he shared this video.
Let us tell you that Lalit Modi had left India in the year 2010. ED had accused him of financial irregularities, after which he left the country. However, now that he has got a big relief in this matter, he is once again planning to return to his country. He is also going to become a grandfather in October, hence now it is considered certain that he will return to India.
