Mayank Yadav 1st Ball Wicket: Mayank Yadav made a comeback after a wait of more than 2 years in the first T20 being played against Zimbabwe in Harare. He created history by taking a wicket on the very first ball. Mayank, famous for his fast speed, bowled the ball at a speed of 149 km per hour, which Zimbabwe’s Brian Bennett could not understand. While trying to defend, he gave a catch to wicket keeper Ishan Kishan.
With this, Mayank became one of the few Indian bowlers who took a wicket on the first ball of the T20 International innings. Bhuvneshwar Kumar became the first bowler for India in T20 International to take a wicket on the first ball of the innings. Bhuvi has done this feat thrice.

The thing to note is that Mayank Yadav has also done this feat before. Mayank had also taken a wicket on the first ball in the match against Bangladesh in 2024. Now he did this feat for the second time against Zimbabwe.

Mayank Yadav’s return after a long time
Mayank made his international debut on 6 October 2024 in the T20 match played against Bangladesh. He played all three matches of the series, taking 4 wickets in 3 innings. During this period he had scored runs at an economy of 6.91. Mayank got injured after this series. Due to injury, he could not participate properly in IPL. He also had to stay out of Team India for a long time. Now after a long wait of more than 2 years, Mayank has returned to Team India.
